I come from a long line of excellent Hungarian & Slovak cooks who taught me the importance of good food not only for sustenance but for social gatherings. I had been in a profession for over 35 years and decided that I needed to do something that I loved. After working in several excellent food service establishments in Maryland such as Capers Restaurant, Miss Nancy’s Fancy Bakery, Waterfront Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland, I decided to obtain a Food Management Degree. I did a practicum at the Historic Inn which gave me insight to good food, running a food business and handling customers. Also, I took wedding cake courses as well as a pastry course from the White House pastry chef. I had my own catering business for several years in Maryland creating all types of food for weddings, teas, parties of all sorts and anything my customer wanted. I worked at American Greetings in finances for 9 years after returning to Ohio while I continued to do catering and baking for others. My goal is to provide good food, served with simple elegance to help you, my customers, to celebrate the events of your lives. I will do my best to provide the best types of food, using the freshest and best ingredients that your money will provide. I look forward to serving you.
